Luis "Chito" A. Jacinto Chito retired twice as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The last of which is from Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC); prior to this, he availed of an early retirement from the Philippine National Bank (PNB). He has been an Information Technology (IT) practitioner, a training professional and an educator for the past 38+ years,. He is an Adjunct Lecturer for the Executive Diploma Program in Cybersecurity of De La Salle – College of St. Benilde (DLS-CSB). He has speaking engagements on the topics of Information Security Governance and IT Risk Governance, at the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI) Graduate School of Organizational Development.
He is the Vice-President and a founding member of the Information Security Officers Group (ISOG). He is a past president of the ISACA Manila Chapter, and is currently a member of the board. Aside from ISOG and ISACA, he is presently a member of the board and Corporate Secretary of the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE). He was also one of the first members of the original forum that is now known as the Business Continuity Managers Association of the Philippines (BCMAP) and a member of the Advisory Council of the Philippines National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG). Chito earned various certifications that include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Professional Industrial Engineer (PIE) and Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI). He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). "
